What is a lifestyle newborn session?
Real life. Authentic. Natural. Organic. This session is for photographing the real and the raw of having a fresh little one. If that means you spend the entire session crying and rocking your baby or cuddling in your bed with your little one we will make it happen.
What is a fresh 48 session?
This is an in hospital session that takes place within 48 hours of your littles arrival. The tiny little details don't keep for long and hospital stays can be such a blur. Im here to make sure every precious little detail is captured in a way that brings you back to the emotion and love of that day.
What do we wear?
For all newborn/fresh48 sessions i recommend simple, neutral, soft organic tones. Choose 2 special items for baby to wear, although i prefer to keep it very simple.
For maternity, a gorgeous flowy gown that really accentuates how amazing your body is at this time, that mother earth vibe, you can never go wrong!
How do we book a date when we aren't sure when baby will come?
I completely understand that births, newborn sessions and fresh 48s cannot be planned perfectly. I suggest choosing a week/date on my calendar for your session and checking in with me a few weeks before you are booked to update me on your status. I will leave room during the weeks surrounding your due date for your session.
Do I have to order prints through you?
You absolutely have no obligation to order any prints through me and my website as you have printing rights to your digital files however, I am not responsible for the quality of print when printing from local or online cheap printing sources. When printing something large for your home I would love to share your options for high quality beautiful wall art.
When will we get our photos?
Within 3 weeks of your session date you will receive your gallery link where you can download, share, print or order prints, albums etc. through the gallery site.
